WEST MEETS EAST!!

ADELINE  wanted a birthday gift for her niece... I suggested a name plaque, something useful and pretty that can be used to "mark" her work territory. But I did not want it to be all my work..... how?
Brainwave #1! Adeline's an accomplished Chinese calligrapher.... so I thought... why not include her Chinese work in it too? Hmmmmmm....
Brainwave #2! Three hangings, three chinese name characters....
Brainwave #3! Adeline came over with her Writings paraphernalia... woohoo! So N-ICEEEEE.....
One prob, her ink's not permanent and I do like my stuffs to be lasting...... HOW?
Now this is really really cool.... I had this Versamark Watermark pen that I had bought but not used AND it's has a brush tip! I got her to do the chinese characters on the pretty paper she bought from Japan.... "sand" with black embossing powder and melt/heat set it. IT TURNED OUT GOOOORGEOUS!! LOLS! Adeline is EXCITED about this new medium for Chinese Calligraphy. To celebrate this new invention, I've given her my Versamark pen..... You Go Girl... paint the calligraphy world red!! (sorry... in one of my silly moments)

PS: Adeline is now, proud owner of a heat-gun, some (can't reveal too much in case her hubs is reading this.....) jars of embossing powders, a versamark inkpad.... some paper stacks....and..
I'm BAD! (hangs head in shame).... I brought her scrapbook shopping (HAIZ!~ shakes head~)
