I've known Jeanie for more than 10 years. Although she was always there at family gatherings, we were more like polite acquaintance… maybe it's because I was so much older and my kids call her "jie-jie" (sister)…. Then we had a family crisis, my hub's sister was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was during that crisis that I noticed that she stood with the family, helped care for Alice and made the emotional burden easier by looking after the "little" details…. Then her own dad was diagnosed with the dreaded C also….it was a hard time for all of us.
The thing is…. and so cliche but true…. How much you only missed someone and noticed all the nice things about them when they are no longer part of your life…..
So here I am, reminiscing, wishing this sweet person…. all HaPPINess and LOve in her future! Hugs Jeanie!
Yay! Part 2 completed! Paper used is from the new DCVW's The Chateau Lavendaer stack! I LUUUUV luv this stack! The tags are also cutouts from the same stack and I just added rub-ons to them. Very simple layouts!
Was at my friend's home the other day and saw that they had 3 rather large EMPTY frames (from Ikea) hanging on the wall. He shared with me that he had intended to display his sketchings when he first bought them for his new home..... it's been over 3 years already... and his intentions have remained just that! LOLS!
30com by 30cm on the inner frame, I thought a 12 x 12" scrap pattered paper will be just the thing to fill up the empty spaces! I simply found the cutest paper among my stash (I think it was from KCK- Glittering Glamour's range)... print and mat the photos of their adorable girl.... isn't she a cutie!!!... Added some pearls and bling from Prima Flowers, added the name stickers...and that was about it!
